RC and crew look at Lac Saint-Jean as a potential impact site, with comparisons to Lake Nipigon. Several other Patreon contributors' questions and comments are addressed, but Randall dives deep on one in particular that sees the difficulty in sourcing the heat/energy required to shift out of an Ice Age. Quoting extensively from published mid-70's papers, he confirms that this "Energy Paradox" has not yet been definitively explained.

  • (Again, 2nd Pass-thru) Note to Dave the Volunteer: Remember the oath that Pippin swore on bended knee to Denethor: "Here do I swear ... something something something... to speak and to be silent, to do and to let be, to come and to go, in need or plenty, in peace or war, in living or dying, from this hour henceforth, until my lord release me, or death take me, or the world end." Even Volunteers can benefit from having a lawyer vet their contract. | | ||| | | BTW, Some of us got Iso-chrons on our Faces... Like the Gray Hairs: I Earned Every ONE!!!! <||] [||> (I see disagreement in spelling...) Isochrone Mapping software is available in 2022 for businesses to use seeking to optimize travel and movement; for astronomers for Star distance & movement modeling. Also helpful for transport shipping industry.... <||] [||> Ben Davidson prepares a daily focus on the SUN's activity via the website and organization Suspicious0bservers.org, with relentless clarity and focus. He routinely shares and comments upon the daily published physical observations of dedicated Sun-orbiting satellites and Earth-based observatories, tracking sunspots, flares, CMEs, the solar wind and its changes, and the EFFECTS of those on the Earth. He provides context by splaining how the physical phenomena behind the raw data play out in the interactions between the SUN's streaming energy and hurtling particles as they crash and penetrate into EARTH's Magnetosphere, atmosphere, oceans, crust, molten mantle and Hot churning Liquid Iron Core!

  • I would watch just for more time with Randall's sweet doggies! When I lived on a ranch for a few years, we got a Pyrenees-Akbash (a Turkish breed similar to Randall's) when it was only about 8 weeks. Looked just like a Polar Bear cub. Since its birth in early spring it had been running around with a small flock of sheep (about 30) and its litter mates. When we came to select a pup, an Australian sheep dog -- Calico, with bright blue eyes -- was let into the pasture and went streaking out toward the sheep, which were at the far end of the large field, about a furlong distant. The shepherd got the sheep (and the puppies) back to the gate in about ten minutes, then dropped on the ground, fixing his wide-eyed stare on the sheep. They gathered into a tight group and just looked back at the shepherd... almost like they were asking, "Is this where you want us? Did we do it right?" The six white pyrenees pups galloped over to the shepherd and mobbed him, climbing all over, nipping at his ears and tail, snuzzling and licking, and sniffing... But none of that distracted the Aussie dog from its task... never broke its focus on the sheep. These pups had been living with the sheep, sleeping, eating, and frolicking with them every day. This makes them regard the sheep as their family. When we got the pup to our ranch, she'd been miserable and scared through the entire hour's drive. But when we took her out to meet her new companions – our little flock of a dozen Icelandic sheep – she walked right up to them, sniffed around for half a minute, and dropped smiling onto the hay. She couldn't have said it any plainer if she'd spoken it in English: She was Home, and everything was okay.
