Blood Run & The Big Lost Serpent Mound Mystery

South Dakota - Iowa border. Lost history. At one time the Blood Run Site may have had up to 480 mounds, (275 late 1880's) stone circles, a 15 acre oval enclosure and a Serpent Mound that may have been as big as the one in Ohio. Most of the history written is on the Oneota culture, but many periods of history have been found here, the earliest from about 8500 years ago.
