Earlier in the Deep Space Course I showed you my beginner and intermediate workflows for star trackers.  In this Advanced Workflow video, we'll take things to the next level.

With the power of a Go-To Mount, we can streamline our workload each night.  The main feature here is the ASIAir.  This will control every aspect of our Go-To Mount, dedicated astro camera, filter wheel, and more.

Even those this workflow is "advanced", you'll see that it is quite easy to follow. In fact, it is easier to use than the SkyGuider Pro or Star Adventurer, in some respects.

I will be showcasing an electronic focuser, with the RASA telescope. For those that are considering whether or not to purchase an electronic focuser, this should give you a good idea of how it will work.

If you purchased an EQ6R Pro since late 2020, you may not be able to use the default USB to ASIAir connection.  Due to a firmware update, the ASIAir may not be able to read the mount properly.  If you encounter problems, purchase an EQMod cable from Amazon.  One end of the cable is an RJ45 plug, and it will attach to the hand controller port on the mount.  The other end is a USB cable which will attach to the ASIAir.
