The Keepers of Hathor Temple at Dendera Complex Egypt

Unlike other monuments in Egypt, Hathor's temple stands out like a sore thumb.  It has kept a hidden secret from the public eye for thousands of years.  

Remarkably in excellent condition, the housing structure suffered minimal damage from outside intrusion with the exception of the melted steps.

How convenient these limestones steps which lead to one crypt features a stone sketch of a lost technology revived thousand of years later in the 19th Century.

Were these melted steps an attempt to ward off others as a future warning not to leave this innovative technology in the wrong hands?
