The Emerald Tablets of Thoth are a fascinating read. They are an interpretation done by a guy using the name Doreal in the 1920's. The exact origin of the Emerald Tablet (ET) of Hermes and Thoth lay shrouded in mystery. Opinions vary widely on both, from the scholarly theory that it originated in the early period of Arabic alchemy, to the speculative theory of an Atlantean origin. The original documents have not survived and all we are left with are translations of them. Should we take useful spiritual info from individual interpretations? Of course we should, spiritual enlightenment can come in many forms, especially when it relates cross culturally with many other ancient text. The Emerald Tablet of Hermes(Thoth) and the Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean both have origins that can't be tracked down. If ET or ultraterrestrial talk scares you away then the ancients texts or interpretations of them are not for you. They all speak of light beings from the stars.
