This is part 2 of my series on Paleo-Atlantic Shorelines and the Carolina Bays. Bottom line: Well defined Bays are over 42', heavily eroded Bays are between 42' and 30', and there are no Bays below 30'.

This is part 2 of my series on Paleo-Atlantic Shorelines and the Carolina Bays.  Bottom line:  Well defined Bays are over 42', heavily eroded Bays are between 42' and 30', and there are no Bays below 30'.  Seems to be a clear correlation to between Carolina Bays and past (pre-YDB) sea level stages.
