ISO is the most misunderstood camera setting. It does not change your camera's sensitivity to light. As you increase the ISO, you are amplifying whatever light was captured during your exposure.

The Shutter Speed is the main camera setting that controls the amount of light entering the camera. We generally want to shoot longer exposures, to capture more light. This will give a cleaner final image.
