In the final Module of our course, we will look into doing henna for others, composition of designs and other ways to work with henna.
In Module 3, we learn to make our own henna cones from scratch, fill them with the henna paste we made and begin creating designs.
In Module 2, we journey from plant to paste, learning techniques for mixing henna recipes and simple methods of application.
After leaving the paste on overnight, the draped design is scraped and oiled the next day. The design will continue to darken for the next 48 hours.

After allowing the draped lines to dry, they can be filled in. Waiting for dry lines before filling results a filled square with crisp lines.
It is important to have very gooey stringy henna for draping. Practice draping large areas, such as the palm, to gain muscle memory for this technique.
