  • Over using the term "decimated" Decimation is obviously extreme destruction, but it was created as a term to describe the loss of 1 in every 10, or a 90% survival rate. Thanks Roman Legions for the practice of extreme discipline, of those that needed to feel the wrath for their faults but feeling the need to keep the greater percentage active. There must be a more extreme term to use, other than disintegrate, as that word mean leaving nothing behind. If there is, it just isn't on the tip of my tongue at this time, well, other than the devastated & obliteration which destroyed the full of 820+ miles of old growth.

  • Randall seems like a genius, because of all the information at his immediate command. But it inexplicably escapes his notice, the idea climate is the ONE that allows Seattle to remain where it is. It's just that simple. I wonder why a man that smart cannot see it.
